About Me

I started teaching high school video production and photography at Gardiner Area High School in 2021, where I completely restructured the program coming out of Covid. I researched and purchased new equipment, designed unit outlines and lesson plans for Video Production 1, Video Production 2, Intro to Photography, and Sports Media classes. I created presentations, rubrics, and more all from scratch.

After stepping away from teaching for a year, I realized how much I missed the classroom.

My teaching philosophy is driven by the belief that every student can be creative. Some students find it while brainstorming ideas, others in the technical aspects of the cameras or the editing software, and some in the confidence of directing and producing. That’s the great thing about art - everyone has their own contribution to it and individuality that makes them unique.
